“I would definitely recommend enQuiring minds. It has been a day where you are given the opportunity to discuss and critically analyse the ‘social norms’ around us that shape who we are as people.” Caitlin Berry-Kilgour, student, age 16, Nelson
I found today’s Building Community workshop very interesting as I have learnt many new things. I enjoyed listening to other people’s opinions as well as joining in with group work and sharing my thoughts. It has made me become very passionate about gender roles and stereotypes, and it has made me become aware of my surroundings and how to make a positive impact. I would definitely participate in this type of workshop again if I have a chance to, and I hope you are able to come again. Thank you so much!

It was Fantastic! I really enjoyed listening to everything - how humans are taking animal cells to produce meat. And things about what is beauty and how people make their money. I loved Pania's speech it inspired me.
Alliyah Rihari, Rotorua Lakes High School
It was interesting discussing something that I wouldn’t normally think about in my everyday life. An effective way to help us become more aware of the world around us, both past and present. This required deep and critical thinking, as well as engaging the audience through interactive activities.

I found today to be very interesting. I was able to learn things about certain topics that I had not earlier realised. Some things were said that I may not agree with, but the open approach was one that I am able to relate to, so for that I thank you. I must say that you have made me reconsider certain things.
Samuel Britain, Year 13, Tauranga Boys
It was an interesting experience and I liked the fact that everyone was included.
Calais Campbell, Rangitikei College, Marton
I really enjoyed the ethics workshop because from the presentation I learnt a lot and we were also challenged to form our own opinion on the topic of AI.–
